- Target to reduce the labour percentage against sales KPI., to date reuction from 20%+ to 16.5%.
- Target to reduce materials variances from £500+ per day, to date current variances at £140 per day.

- Complete production expansion into phase 2 of new factory extension, in conjunction with senior management team.

Acting Factory Manager — (Reporting to Head of Operations)
- Engaged in production of pork products for retail, added value and wholesale outlets (i.e. Tesco, Hygrade and McKey).
- Complete control of primal factory facility, specifically to improve efficiencies, implement new working practices and stabilise workforce.
- Deputise for Abattoir Manager in his absence and assist in other operational areas as required.
- Introducing K.P.I. control and reporting system to moniter cost/yield benefits, with further systems to administer, reduce and improve accuracy of wages/bonus payments. (Savings £65K achieved)
- Undertook the revision of working methods and implemented new production layouts in packing department (target savings approx.£175K., achieved)
- Ongoing review of machinery and highlighted potential savings of £40K. per annum on derinding equipment (achieved).
- Reduced staff turnover from 27% to 5% and managed training of key personnel, together with full review and recommended management structure
- Recommended further potential savings areas, currently under review, of £350K. Ongoing savings, handed over to new Factory Manager.
- Assisted in the Higher Accreditation status, gained during Efsis audit.
