George M. Moore (Flat and National Hunt Trainer)

A well known and respected figure at Northern and Scottish racetracks. George has produced more than 800 winners under both codes and can be relied upon to bring a horse to its “peak” at the right time. Better known for his National Hunt “string”, but has produced great victories with flat horses, ( notably recently – with Macorville and Toldo ).
George has handled such “great” names as Highflying, Fredcoteri and Royal Illusion, to victories in such races as the Northumberland Plate and the Glenlivet Hurdle.
The stables achievements speak for themselves and they continue to supply winners and placed horses, with uncanny regularity. Owners attached to the yard are “unswerving” in their loyalty and commitment to Warwick Lodge; you also, will fall under the “spell” of the North Yorkshire moor setting of Middleham, its racing traditions and village folk are hard to surpass.
George and Carol ( his wife ), are always a source of honest information about the horses in their care and the staff are ever cheerful, whenever you may meet them.
I have had horses trained by George at Warwick Lodge, for some nine years.
